vintage mother of pearl bracelet

$55.00
sold out

this handmade bracelet holds a special story i hope you’ll allow me to indulge. many years ago, my father visited beijing in the early 90s, returning to former yugoslavia with a necklace gifted to his mother, Mukadesa (or Kada, as she was known). the necklace broke at some point, and after my grandmother’s passing in 2006, a box of these beads found their way to me a couple of years ago (some family members heard i was making jewellery). i made this bracelet using some of those beads, alongside 14K gold-filled materials and genuine sodalite gemstones. pictured is my own bracelet, however i have recreated it as a limited edition piece.
